UK public-sector opportunities. Your next move.
RFP Quest is an RFP platform for UK suppliers: find public tenders, understand the buyer and keep your bid decisions, tasks and evidence together.
Know what deserves your attention.
See why. Decide what happens next.
Explore notices without an account. Members, open your workspace →
Checked against primary sources9 sources linked below
RFP Quest connects the opportunity to the decision, then the decision to the work.
Search notices from Find a Tender and Contracts Finder, with the buyer, published value and dates beside the opportunity.
Check the buyer’s record and what the notice actually asks for, then compare it with the experience and capacity your team can evidence.
Use your own hours and costs to decide how much preparation the opportunity deserves. Calculate the commitment.
Record why the team intends to pursue or decline the opportunity, with the evidence it reviewed.
In the member workspace, assign tasks and attach evidence to requirements so the work survives a handover.
Return to the source and the recorded decision when the buyer changes the underlying notice.
An order of work for a supplier, not the buyer's procurement timetable. RFP Quest does not write or submit the response.
Public search is open to everyone. The company workspace requires member access; Book a Demo to discuss access or contact RFP Quest.
Start with the notice. See the buyer, the published value and the deadline before you go deeper.

A published example · Northumbrian Water
Northumbrian Water’s FA08-31 Commercial Services notice gives an estimated framework value of £120 million excluding VAT, across its lots.
That is a framework estimate, not revenue promised to one supplier.
Lots C1, C2 and D are labelled for SMEs, with different services and regions; a consultancy must check the relevant lot and tender documents before deciding to take part.
The published deadline is 3 November 2026, noon UK time, for expressions of interest—not a final tender submission deadline.
For a bid lead, the useful question is specific: which lot can the team deliver, and what evidence will it need?
Illustration from a public notice, not a customer endorsement or a recommendation to bid. Snapshot checked 12 October 2026; read the official record for the dates and value, and check for later notices before acting.
Price the preparation before committing it: your team’s hours are part of the decision.
Your bid effort
Starting figures are an illustration, not a measured average or a saving promised by RFP Quest.
£4,000 and 80 team hours each month if you prepare every bid.
Use the estimate to decide how much work to authorise before drafting starts.
It excludes software fees and external costs.
If the opportunity is worth pursuing, record the commitment and the reasons. If it is not, a clear no-bid protects time for the work that fits.
For a covered procurement, check the platform requirements and the buyer’s instructions before the participation stage.
Start with your company’s real work: what you deliver, where you work and what you can prove.
Members can talk or type to build a company brief, then review the proposed information before confirming it.
Jev, the assistant in RFP Quest, uses that context to help assess opportunities and explain possible fit.
A recommendation is a judgment, not an eligibility certificate or a promise of a win.
Your confirmed brief gives the conversation a starting point when you return, so the next discussion can build on what you already said.

Voice availability can vary; text is also supported. Member memory is private context, not public procurement evidence. Read how your information is used.
The assistant helps you examine the opportunity; you confirm consequential actions.
An opportunity needs a decision
Explore a buyer, discuss the fit and ask for research to support the decision.
Read recommendations as judgments and follow their evidence back to the source.
Check the named buyer, the opportunity and the proposed change before confirming.
A confirmed action has a recorded result; a suggestion alone is not a decision.
RFP Quest does not draft or submit your tender response.
If you use AI-generated material in a bid, check it and follow the buyer’s disclosure requirements; Cabinet Office PPN 017 explains the approach for in-scope central government buyers.
Give the team one place to see what needs attention, who owns the next task and why the decision was made.
The member workspace organises attention into Needs action, Changed and Worth a look.
Deals keep bid decisions with their reasons, tasks with owners and due dates, and requirements with supporting evidence.
When a notice changes after a decision, the workspace gives the team a reason to look again.
A printable deal summary lets someone outside the conversation read the case.
Choose RFP software for the job you need done: discovering opportunities, managing a decision or writing a response.
| Your job | What to look for | RFP Quest today |
|---|---|---|
| Find the opportunity | Searchable notices, source links and dates that distinguish a future plan from an open opportunity or an award. | Public tender search across the two registers we read. |
| Understand the buyer | A history of published notices and award records, with the source kept visible. | Buyer pages list notices; supplier pages list published award records. |
| Manage the bid decision | Reasons, tasks, ownership, requirements and evidence that remain together. | A signed-in company workspace with an attention list and a printable deal summary. |
| Write and submit the answer | Response drafting, an approved-answer library or submission support where you need them. | RFP Quest does not draft or submit bids; consider a dedicated response tool for that work. |
Compare AI bid tools using your own priorities, or read the free RFP software guide before committing to a paid product.
Read the opportunity, check the fit, then authorise the work—in that order.
Open the notice and its documents, and check the status, lot, value basis and exact deadline.
Compare the requirements with your experience, capacity and evidence, including any information-security requirements.
Write the reasons for pursuing or declining the opportunity, including the time the bid will need.
Give each task an owner and date, then follow the buyer’s own route to participate and submit.
Check later updates and the required response format before authorising submission through the buyer’s named service.
A supplier's preparation sequence. Exact participation and submission dates come from the buyer's current documents.
For registration and participation, use the Cabinet Office’s Find a Tender registration guide and central digital platform guidance; RFP Quest does not replace the buyer’s portal.
